RouteBuddy and the Ordnance Survey are pleased to announce immediate release of the new RouteBuddy GB 25K REGIONS Maps. For the first time on any mobile device Ordnance Survey digital map users can now take a detailed map of the whole UK with them away from the office or home.
Primarily aimed at the commercial market, these new maps from RouteBuddy enable any user to load a complete UK 1:25 000 scale Ordnance Survey map onto their iPhone or iPad. Users can also choose from 8 Regional UK 1:25 000 scale Ordnance Survey Maps if they only need part of the UK or wish to use less space.
To plan or analyse geodata, users can load the same Ordnance Survey map onto any of Apple’s Mac computers. Transfer of Waypoints, Routes (Atlas 1.4) and Tracks between RouteBuddy for Mac OS X, Google Earth on a PC, to and from your iPhone or iPad is quick, easy and simple with drag-and-drop of files over a WiFi connection.
RouteBuddy’s unique map and data technology means they are the only digital map company that are able to load large topographic maps over 2Gb onto Apple’s mobile devices and still offer ultra-fast pan, zoom and tracking.

RouteBuddy Atlas 1.3.1, ideal for geocachers, is now available from the iTunes store.
Geocachers can now import single or multiple .gpx and .kml files into RouteBuddy Atlas direct from their Mac or Windows desktop over Wifi. Geocaches appear on top of any loaded offline USGS or OSGB Topo maps in Routebuddy Atlas. You can easily use our detailed topo maps to find each cache along your route.
We recommend Geocachers open a premium account with Geocaching.com to access GPX and KML files. Alternatively, for those who wish to try-before-they-buy, RouteBuddy for Mac OS X (or GPSBabel on Windows) can convert the free Geocaching .loc files on the fly.
