Buying RouteBuddy Products

Adding products to your Basket

The majority of products on the store are part of a collection. A summary of the product is listed under the collection header but to find out more information about the product, just click on the information icon for the product and you will be taken to the detail. You can add a product to the cart from either the collection page or the product detail page.

When you have finished adding products to your cart, click on the cart symbol at the top of the page. 

Shopping Cart

The Shopping Cart page will show a summary of the products you have in your cart. Under each product there is a clickable option for delivery of the product, the default being download.

Most customers opt for a download link for their purchases but we recommend having the product delivered on a DVD if the file size is between 2GB - 3.8GB or on a re-usable 8GB USB stick if the files size is between 3.8Gb - 7.9Gb. 
The larger road map files are 4-7Gb in size (USA and Western Europe) and can take a long time to download. Interruptions may cause the download to be corrupted. 

On the Shopping Cart page you can either: Return to Store; Empty your Basket or Confirm shipping. When you have finished shopping make sure all the shipping options on your items have been checked and then select Confirm Shipping.

If you have a discount code to enter, there is a box for this at the top of the Shopping Cart page. If you make changes to your cart after you have entered the code, remember to re-enter the code once the page has refreshed.
Discount codes are sent out to existing customers in Newsletters throughout the year so if you want to take advantage of any special offers we have then make sure you sign up to the newsletter!

When you Confirm Shipping on the Shopping Cart Page you will then be taken to the Shipping confirmation page

On the Shipping Confirmation page you will be shown a summary of your purchases and shipping options chosen.
Make sure that everything is correct and that any discount has been applied if you have used a discount code.

Complete the details on this page for:

• Your email address Required
• Your name Required - this will be the name that is used to create your personal licence code
• Your method of payment
• Your billing address
• Acknowledgment of policies
  Completing the above on this page will save you typing it again on the Worldpay payment oage

If these are correct then click the Proceed to Payment button where you will be transferred to the Worldpay system for secure payment processing.

Once you have clicked “Purchase” WorldPay will take your details and process your payment.

Thanks for your purchase emails

WorldPay will send you a “Thanks for your Purchase” email summarising your purchase details.

Shortly following the email from Worldpay will be an email from RouteBuddy Support (tfyp@routebuddy.com) providing you with the download links for the products you have purchased and your licence code for each product. It is important that you keep a copy of this email as, if for any reason you need to re-download the software and re-licence, you will then have all the information you need to do so.
When you make your purchase you will be offered the chance to purchase a license code look up service which is £5 for each product license code issued. This will mean that you have the assurance that if you do lose your license codes we will find them for you on our database.

The email will also contain a link for you to download the latest version of the RouteBuddy Application. Follow the on-screen instructions and using the Installing RouteBuddy section of this guide to help you, then apply your license code following the instructions in Licensing section of this manual.

Please ensure that you are able to receive all emails from addresses ending in @routebuddy.com

Refunds

As downloads are an immediate way of receiving your goods, refunds are not normally given except in exceptional circumstances.
Quality and use of maps can be tested with the free sample maps provided and, before purchasing the RouteBuddy Application, the demo can be used to try out any maps you buy. 
Our on-line store gives a good idea of the areas covered by the maps, if you are unsure about the area covered then please contact us at support@routebuddy.com.
Where refunds are agreed they will be subject to deduction of e-commerce and credit card processing fees.
