Tools

The tools menu provides another way of accessing the Tools on the Toolbar.

    

For more details about: Move | Select | Zoom | Ruler | Waypoint | Route | go to Tool Bar
Clicking any of these opens up the selected Tool for you to perform the function

Create Waypoint...

This places a waypoint central on the map in view and then opens up the Waypoint editor pane. For more details refer to: Use Waypoints

Create Route from Waypoints

Select a number of waypoints by either

• Highlighting two or more waypoints in the list below the content panel
• Using the Select tool to highlight an area enclosing the waypoints on the map

then use Create Route from Waypoints to create a route from previously defined waypoints rather than clicking out a route with route points.

Navigate To...

If a GPS device is connected to your laptop and is able to act as a receiver, you can select a waypoint you want to Navigate to.
